This post-wash formula is applied to a wet vehicle immediately after cleaning. Once rinsed, it chemically bonds to the surface, creating an instant water-beading effect that lasts.

Whether you have a car, a boat, or a 4WD, Drip Dry significantly reduces drying time by forcing water to sheet off the panels. This "touchless" protection helps eliminate the risk of water spotting and provides a sacrificial layer against salt, UV rays, and road grime. 1. How exactly does "spray on, rinse off" work?
It’s simple chemistry. After you’ve washed your car and rinsed off the soap, but while the surface is still soaking wet, you apply a mist of Drip Dry. As soon as you rinse it with fresh water, the product "breaks" and bonds to the paint, creating an instant hydrophobic shield.

2. Can I apply this in direct sunlight?
We strongly advise applying Drip Dry in the shade on a cool surface. If the product dries or "cures" on the surface before you rinse it off, it can leave streaks. Always work in sections (one side of a car at a time) and rinse immediately.

3. Do I still need to dry the car with a towel?
Because the water beads off so aggressively, you will have much less water to deal with. You can use the "sheeting method" (running a low-pressure stream of water over the panels) to remove 90% of the water, then finish with a microfibre drying towel for a perfect, spot-free result.

4. How long does the protection last?
While not a permanent ceramic coating, Drip Dry provides excellent protection for several weeks. Because it is so easy to apply, most of our customers use it every 2 or 3 washes to keep the hydrophobic effect at its peak.

5. Is it safe for my windscreen and glass?
Yes, it is fantastic for glass! It acts like a rain repellent, causing water to fly off your windscreen while driving in the rain, which significantly improves visibility.

6. What is the best way to dilute it?
For a foam cannon or spray bottle, we recommend a 1:9 ratio (e.g., 100ml of Drip Dry with 900ml of water). If using the Captain’s Musket, simply pour 90ml into the canister, ensure the foam nozzle is attached, and let the Musket handle the mixing.

7. Can I use this on my boat or jet ski?
Absolutely. It is one of our most popular marine products. Applying it to your hull after a salt wash creates a barrier that makes it much harder for salt and scum to bond to your gelcoat on your next trip.

8. Can this be used on PPF?

No, we don't recommend Drip Dry on PPF as it has not been specifically tested for use on this surface.
