Will these shackles fit my standard bull bar or rear recovery point?
Yes. These are standard 19mm (3/4") body shackles with a 22mm pin, which is the most common size for Australian 4x4 recovery points.

How tight should I turn the pin?
Screw the pin in until it is hand-tight, then back it off by a quarter to half turn. This prevents the pin from seizing under the extreme pressure of a recovery.

What is the purpose of the plastic isolators?
The TPU isolators prevent the shackle from swinging and hitting your bumper or recovery point while driving, eliminating irritating "clanking" noises and preventing paint chips.

Can I use these for lifting applications?
While these are engineered for off-road recovery with a high safety factor, we recommend using them specifically for vehicle recovery and towing as per their intended design.
