Do I need to drill into my roof rack?
If your rack has T-slots or existing M10 holes, this is a bolt-on installation. For flat surfaces or custom trays without holes, some drilling will be required to secure the base plates.

Will the pins rust after beach driving?
We’ve used chrome-plated steel for the pins and powder-coated steel for the base to provide high resistance to salt spray, though we always recommend a fresh-water rinse after coastal trips.
