Q: Why do I need 14AWG instead of the standard 18AWG?
A: Large light bars (32” and 42”) draw significant current. 18AWG is too thin for these loads and can cause the wire to heat up and the light to lose brightness. 14AWG is the professional standard for safety and maximum output.

Q: Can I use this for the 42” StormBar?
A: Absolutely. This harness is the recommended setup for our 42” bars, providing the heavy-duty circuit required for a 240W power draw.

Q: Is the switch illuminated?
A: Yes. The included rocker switch features a built-in LED that glows when the light is active, making it easy to find on the dash during pitch-black night drives.

Q: How long is the harness?
A: The loom provides ample length (approx. 3 metres) to run from your battery, through the firewall to the dash, and out to your bull bar or the base of your roof rack.
