How to use this tyre repair kit

Step 1 – Locate the puncture

Step 1 – Locate the puncture

Find the flat tyre and identify where air is leaking. This is usually a nail, screw, or sharp object embedded in the tread. Open the tyre repair case and lay out the tools you’ll need: reamer, insertion tool, rubber repair strips, lubricant, and trimming blade.

Step 2 - Clean the puncture hole

Step 2 - Clean the puncture hole

Remove the object causing the puncture. Insert the reamer tool into the hole and work it in and out to clean and roughen the hole for proper sealing.

Step 3 - Prepare the repair strip

Step 3 - Prepare the repair strip

Remove one rubber repair strip and coat it generously with the supplied lubricant or rubber cement to help it slide into the tyre.

Step 5 - Insert the repair plug

Step 5 - Insert the repair plug

Thread the lubricated rubber strip halfway through the insertion tool. Push the tool firmly into the puncture until only a small section of the plug remains visible.

Step 6 – Remove the tool

Step 6 – Remove the tool

While pushing down on the removal washer, twist the insertion tool slightly and pull it straight out. The repair plug will stay lodged inside the tyre, sealing the hole.

Step 7 - Trim excess plug

Step 7 - Trim excess plug

Use the blade to trim off any excess rubber plug so it sits flush with the tyre tread.
