1. Prepare the area: Move your aluminium boat or toolbox to a well-ventilated area, ideally outdoors, to avoid inhaling any fumes from the cleaner. Ensure that the surface is cool to the touch and free from any loose debris or dirt.

2. Test a small area: Before applying the cleaner to the entire surface, test it on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility. This will help you determine if the cleaner is safe to use and won't cause any adverse reactions or discolouration to your surface. You must determine if your surface is Aluminium or Alloy. Alloy surfaces with a Magnesium blend will turn black and this product will not work with it.

3. Dilute: Follow the dilution instructions on the bottle for the appropriate dilution ratio.

4. Apply the aluminium cleaner to the surface using the spray bottle or bucket where the dilution has been made and use the brush provided to spread the product evenly to prevent drip marks. Work in small sections at a time to ensure thorough coverage. Avoid letting the cleaner dry on the surface, as it can leave residue or streaks.
