The pH-neutral formula cleans while helping protect against the long-term effects of salt corrosion, making it ideal for regular maintenance after beach, coastal, or off-road use. Safe for paint, gelcoat, glass, plastics, rubber, chrome, aluminium, stainless steel, and ceramic-coated surfaces, Salt Wash leaves your vehicle clean, fresh, and protected after every wash.

What is Salt Wash Detergent designed for?
Salt Wash is specifically formulated to remove salt residue and light marine contamination from boats, PWCs, trailers, fishing gear, vehicles, outboards and other equipment exposed to coastal environments.

How is Salt Wash different from a regular car wash?
Unlike standard car wash detergents, Salt Wash is formulated to break down and remove corrosive salt deposits, helping reduce the long-term effects of salt exposure while leaving surfaces clean and refreshed.

Can I use it after every trip to the beach or boat ramp?

Can I use it through a foam cannon or foam gun?
Yes. Salt Wash can be applied using a foam cannon, foam gun or wash bucket, making it suitable for everything from quick rinses to full maintenance washes.

What surfaces is it safe to use on?
It's safe for paintwork, fibreglass, gelcoat, aluminium, stainless steel, plastics, rubber, glass and ceramic-coated surfaces when used as directed.

Will it remove wax or ceramic coatings?
No. Salt Wash is pH neutral and is designed to clean away salt and grime without stripping quality waxes, sealants or ceramic coatings.

Can I use it to flush my boat or PWC engine?
No. Salt Wash is designed for external washing only. For flushing internal cooling systems, use Salty Captain Outboard & PWC Engine Flush with an approved flushing device.

Can I use it on fishing gear and trailers?
Yes. Salt Wash is excellent for cleaning boat trailers, rod holders, fishing equipment, anchor gear, jet skis, kayaks and other marine accessories exposed to saltwater.
