1. How do I use Salt Wash for the best results?
For a contactless wash, use the Captain’s Musket. Foam the surface from the bottom up, let it dwell for 30 to 60 seconds (do not let it dry), and rinse thoroughly. For heavy buildup or fish guts, agitate the foam gently with a wash mitt before rinsing.

2. Can I use this on my house windows and gutters?
Yes. If you live near the coast, salt spray can etch your windows and corrode your gutters and metal screens. Using Salt Wash via the Musket is the easiest way to neutralise that salt and protect your home’s exterior without damaging your paint or garden.

3. Is this different from a normal car wash?
Yes. Most car washes are designed to lift dirt and grease. Salt Wash is specifically engineered to neutralise salt crystals. If you live near the ocean or use your vehicle on the beach, a standard soap won't stop the salt from corroding your metal; Salt Wash will.

4. Is it safe for my boat's clears and polycarbonate?
Absolutely. Because it is pH neutral and contains no harsh solvents, it is completely safe for clears, glass, and expensive electronics screens. It won't cause clouding or yellowing.

5. How much should I use per wash?
It is highly concentrated. You only need about 40ml to 50ml in your Musket reservoir to wash a mid-sized boat or car. This 1L bottle should last you between 20 and 25 washes.

6. Do I need to dry the boat after using Salt Wash?
To prevent water spots, we always recommend drying with our Big Cham or Drying Towel. However, because the salt has been neutralised, you won't get those crusty salt spots if you miss a few drops.

7. Is it safe for my lawn and garden?
Yes. Our formula is biodegradable and pH neutral. If you wash your boat, car, or house on the grass, it won't kill your lawn or harm your plants and the local environment.
