1. Why is this better than flushing with just fresh water?
Fresh water alone cannot dissolve salt that has been "heat-bonded" to internal engine parts. Salty Captain Engine Flush acts as a chemical neutraliser, breaking that bond so the salt can be completely rinsed away, preventing the buildup that causes long-term damage.

2. Is it safe for the internal "soft" parts of my motor?
Absolutely. The formula is non-acidic and designed to be gentle on rubber impellers, seals, and gaskets while focusing entirely on neutralising corrosive salt and minerals.

3. How much product do I need to use for a single flush?
We recommend using 30ml to 50ml of Engine Flush per session. For the best results, we suggest using the Captain’s Musket or a dedicated boat wash flush device to ensure the correct dilution ratio.

4. What is the correct procedure for a PWC?
Always turn your PWC on before activating any liquid through the flush port. Use 30ml to 50ml of Engine Flush in your Musket, shift the adjustment to 'mix', and begin the process. Once complete, turn the water off before turning off your PWC engine.

5. How long should the flushing process last?
Flushing times vary by make and model, but generally, you should flush until the reservoir is empty (typically 2 to 5 minutes). This ensures the formula has reached operating temperature and circulated through the entire cooling and exhaust system.
