Can I use it in any flushing device?
Yes. It can be used with the Salty Captain Captain's Musket or any compatible outboard or PWC flushing device that introduces detergent into the cooling system.

Can I use it on both outboards and PWCs?
Yes. The formula is suitable for both outboard and personal watercraft engines. Always follow the engine manufacturer's recommended flushing procedure, as the flushing sequence differs between outboards and PWCs.

How often should I flush my engine?
For the best protection, flush your engine after every saltwater use to minimise salt build-up and help extend the life of the cooling system.

Can I leave the product inside the engine?
No. Always complete the flushing process with a fresh water rinse before shutting down the engine, following your engine manufacturer's recommended procedure.

Will it remove existing corrosion?
No. The product is designed to help remove salt deposits and reduce future corrosion. It will not reverse corrosion that has already occurred.

Can I use it on inboard engines?
This product is specifically formulated for outboard and PWC cooling systems. For inboard engines, only use if the flushing system and engine manufacturer approve this type of flushing method.

Do I need to flush with fresh water first?
No. When using the Captain's Musket, begin on the Fresh Water setting, switch to Flush to introduce the detergent, then return to Fresh Water to rinse the cooling system before completing the manufacturer's shutdown procedure.
