Unfortantely I placed on order over the black Friday sales and it took a month for me to receive my order. When it arrived, it was missing an item. They told me the hold-up was due to staff shortages, and there may be an added wait time of 3-7 days... it was more like 4 weeks. I think in the future, if they know they are having staff shortages and warehouse delays, this should be clearly stated before ordering your items. My missing item was express sent but as it was 3 days to Christmas, they couldn't deliver it to my address, I then had to drive to the post office (I live rurally) and pick up the missing item. When trying to email the company, you receive automatic AI replies which are super frustrating. I've ordered from Salty captain before but after this experience, I'm unsure if I'll order again. It was really frustrating to say the least. We don't have a problem with the product itself, it was just hurdle after hurdle to receive it! Luckily I had ordered well in advance for Christmas, otherwise I would've been tough out of luck and would have had nothing to gift this person - and it was cutting it fine. Literally 5 minutes before the post office closed on the 24th december. I understand that staff shortages occur and things happen, but people should have been made aware of this before ordering.
