What makes Chassis Flush different from a normal car wash?
Chassis Flush is specifically formulated to clean the inside and outside of chassis rails, removing built-up sand, salt, mud and grime from areas that can't normally be reached with a pressure washer.

Do I need the Captain's Musket and Chassis Grenade?
Yes. Chassis Flush is designed to be used with the Salty Captain Captain's Musket and Chassis Grenade. Together they deliver detergent deep inside the chassis rails while simultaneously flushing contaminants from hard-to-reach internal cavities.

How often should I flush my chassis?
If you regularly drive on beaches or in corrosive environments, we recommend flushing your chassis after every beach trip to help minimise salt build-up and reduce the risk of corrosion.

Can I use Chassis Flush on more than just the chassis?
Yes. It's also suitable for cleaning underbody components, suspension, crossmembers and other hard-to-reach areas underneath your vehicle.

Will it help prevent chassis rust?

Can I use it without the Chassis Grenade?
For external chassis cleaning, yes. However, to properly clean inside the chassis rails, the Chassis Grenade is recommended to ensure detergent reaches internal cavities and flushes contaminants effectively.

Can I use it after every beach trip?
Absolutely. Regular flushing after beach driving is the best way to remove salt and sand before they cause long-term corrosion or block drainage points.

Can it remove compacted sand from inside the chassis?
Yes. When used with the Captain's Musket and Chassis Grenade, the rotating jet helps break up and flush out accumulated sand, salt and debris from inside the chassis rails.
