How long does it take to set up the 180º Awning?

Thanks to the Incorporated Support System, the 180º Awning deploys in under one minute. The hinged legs drop straight from the horizontal arms, so you don’t have to manage loose parts.
Can one person set it up and pack it away?

Yes. The 180º Awning is designed for one-person setup and pack-down. For windy conditions, secure the guy ropes before stepping away for added stability.
How much coverage does it provide?

The Straightline 180º Side Awning gives you 7.8 m² of sheltered space — perfect for cooking, sitting or parking your swag underneath.
Does it fit my vehicle?

The 180º Awning attaches to most roof racks or crossbars on 4WDs, vans, SUVs and trucks. It can be fitted to the passenger side, driver side or rear, depending on your setup. Check your roof load rating before installation.
Is it freestanding or does it need poles?

It’s freestanding with built-in support arms and hinged vertical legs. In calm conditions it stands without pegs, but we recommend using the supplied guy ropes and pegs in windy weather.
What is the waterproof rating?

The 180º Awning is made from mould-resistant 600D double-ripstop Oxford with taped seams and a 3000 mm waterproof rating to keep you dry during downpours.
Does it block UV rays?

Yes, the UV50+ rated fabric provides high-level sun protection, keeping you shaded and cool on hot days.
What’s included in the box?

The awning itself, integrated LED strip light, built-in vertical legs, guy ropes, pegs, mounting hardware, wiring harness and a fire-retardant PVC storage bag.
Can I attach walls or extra panels?

Yes. The 180º Awning has integrated Velcro strips for seamless attachment of optional awning walls (sold separately) for added shade, wind-blocking or full enclosure.
How stable is it in windy conditions?

The powder-coated aluminium frame and stainless-steel knuckles handle gusts up to 30 km/h when correctly pegged and tensioned. For stronger winds, pack it down to avoid damage.
How do I power the LED lights?

The dual-colour LED strip lights connect to your 12V power source or auxiliary battery via the USB connection wiring harness included.
How do I maintain the awning?

Let it dry completely before packing away to prevent mould. Clean the fabric with mild soapy water (no harsh chemicals) and regularly check bolts. Store in the provided PVC bag when not in use.
What’s the warranty?

The Straightline 180º Side Awning is backed by our 24 Month manufacturer’s warranty. Damage caused by incorrect installation, harsh winds when the unit is unsecured, or misuse is not covered.
