What does Hydro Spot remove?
Hydro Spot is formulated to safely remove hard water spots, mineral deposits and light calcium staining from exterior vehicle and marine surfaces before they become permanently etched.

What surfaces can I use Hydro Spot on?
Hydro Spot is safe for paintwork, glass, chrome, stainless steel, gelcoat and other hard exterior surfaces when used as directed. Always test on an inconspicuous area before first use.

Do I need to scrub?
For light water spotting, simply wipe the product over the surface with a clean microfibre cloth. For heavier deposits, lightly agitate using a magic sponge (melamine sponge) or a soft microfibre applicator, then rinse or wipe clean.

Will it remove etched water spots?
Hydro Spot removes mineral deposits sitting on the surface. If the water spots have permanently etched into the paint or glass, machine polishing or glass restoration may be required.

Can I use it on ceramic-coated vehicles?
Yes. Hydro Spot is safe for ceramic-coated surfaces and is ideal for removing mineral deposits that can reduce water beading and gloss.

Can I use it in direct sunlight?
For best results, apply to a cool surface out of direct sunlight and do not allow the product to dry before wiping or rinsing away.

Should I protect the surface after using Hydro Spot?
Yes. Once the water spots have been removed, applying a wax, ceramic detailer or protective coating such as Salty Captain Spit & Lick Spray Wax or Final Touch Ceramic Detailer will help reduce future water spotting.

How often should I use Hydro Spot?
Use only as required when water spots or mineral deposits appear. Regular washing and protecting your vehicle or vessel will help prevent future build-up.
