Can I use Rod & Reel Cleaner on all types of fishing reels?
Yes. It's suitable for spinning, baitcaster, overhead and electric reels, as well as fishing rods and other marine fishing equipment. Always follow your reel manufacturer's maintenance recommendations.

Will it remove salt build-up?
Yes. Rod & Reel Cleaner is formulated to dissolve and remove salt residue, fish slime, blood and everyday grime, helping reduce the build-up that can lead to corrosion.

Can I spray it directly into my reel?
No. Spray the product onto the exterior surfaces only. For internal servicing, lubrication or disassembly, always follow the reel manufacturer's maintenance procedures.

Do I need to lubricate my reel after cleaning?
Yes. Rod & Reel Cleaner cleans the reel but is not a lubricant. For optimum performance, re-lubricate moving parts with a quality reel oil or grease as recommended by the manufacturer.

Is it safe on carbon fibre rods and anodised reels?
Yes. It's safe for use on carbon fibre, fibreglass, aluminium, anodised finishes, stainless steel and most modern rod and reel materials when used as directed.

Should I clean my gear after every fishing trip?
Yes. Cleaning your rods and reels after every saltwater trip helps remove corrosive salt deposits and extends the life of your fishing equipment.

Will it remove old grease from inside my reel?
No. Rod & Reel Cleaner is designed for external cleaning. Internal servicing should be carried out by disassembling the reel and using appropriate reel cleaning and lubrication products.

Can I use it on other fishing equipment?
Yes. It's also ideal for cleaning tackle boxes, pliers, gaffs, landing nets, lure storage, rod holders and other washable fishing accessories exposed to saltwater.
