Setting Up Your SkyDeck Rooftop Tent

1. Unlock the Tent

Release the two latches at the front of the Duo to free the hard shell - the start of an effortless setup.

2. Lift the Hard Shell

Push up the hardshell and give the tent a light push, the rest of the tent will then open on its own.

3. Stretch and Tuck the Elastic Band

Stretch out the internal elastic cord (designed to pull the fabric in when closing) and tuck it neatly out of the way so it’s ready for a clear entry.

4. Fit the Rainfly Rods

Slide the rainfly rods into their pockets on the rainfly to prop it up and create extra weather protection over the entry points.

5. Attach the Ladder

Slide the fitment bar of the shoe bag into the channel on the side of the rooftop tent until it locks in place.

6. Unzip the Side Flaps and Enter

Unzip the side flaps to open up the doorway, then climb inside your rooftop tent using the ladder.

7. Install the Shoe Bag

Slide the shoe bag’s fitment bar into the side channel of the tent to keep boots and gear off the ground and dirt out of the sleeping area.

8. Enjoy the View

Once everything’s set, climb inside, get comfortable and take in the scenery from your SkyDeck Duo Roof Top Tent.

Can one person manage the pack-down as well?

Yes. The RTT is designed for a one-person setup and pack-down. Built-in straps and the stow-away bag make closing as simple as opening.
How many people can sleep inside?

The RTT fits two adults comfortably with extra room for gear. The integrated 50 mm foam mattress provides home-like comfort.
What makes the sleeping area more comfortable?

It comes with a 50 mm foam mattress plus an anti-condensation mat underneath to improve airflow, reduce dampness and keep you dry and comfortable overnight.
Is there built-in storage for shoes and gear?

Yes. The RTT includes an elevated shoe bag mounted at the top of the ladder, keeping muddy boots and gear out of your sleeping space.

How do I maintain the tent?
