Setting Up Your SkyDeck Rooftop Tent

1. Unclip and Unlock

Release the two latches at the front of the Duo to free the hard shell - the start of an effortless setup.

2. Lift the Hard Shell

Push up the hardshell and give the tent a light push, the rest of the tent will then open on its own.

3. Attach the Ladder

Once the top is fully opened, hook the telescopic ladder to the anchor points of the tent.

4. Fold Out Internal Frame

Fold out and clip the internal frame together in a matter of seconds

5. Attach the Shoe Bag

Slide the fitment bar of the shoe bag into the channel on the side of the rooftop tent until it locks in place.

6. Roll Up the Side Flaps

Roll up the side flaps and secure them to allow airflow through the tent and improve ventilation.

7. Open the Skylight

Unzip and fold back the skylight window to let sunlight stream in during the day or enjoy star-gazing at night.

8. Enjoy the View

Once everything’s set, climb inside, get comfortable and take in the scenery from your SkyDeck Tent.

How many people can sleep inside the SkyDeck Rooftop Tent?

The sleeping platform measures 2000 mm × 1310 mm, comfortably fitting two adults or an adult with one or two small children depending on size and comfort preference.
How long does setup take?

Thanks to its gas strut system, the SkyDeck sets up in under a minute. Simply release the latches, push the shell up, attach the ladder and you’re ready to camp.
What vehicles can it fit on?

The SkyDeck mounts to most roof racks or crossbars rated to safely carry 79.5 kg (including ladder) plus occupants. Always follow your vehicle’s load ratings for safety.
How much weight can it handle once set up?

The rooftop tent has a static load rating of 350 kg. The telescopic ladder is rated for 150 kg.
Is the SkyDeck Tent waterproof?

Yes. The 420D Oxford and 280G polycotton canvas is rated to 5,000 mm water resistance with UV50+ protection, and the aluminium/ABS hard shell seals tightly to keep weather out.
How thick is the mattress?

The included high-density foam mattress is 50 mm thick with an anti-condensation mat underneath to improve airflow and comfort.
Does it come with a shoe bag or storage?

Yes. Each SkyDeck includes an external shoe bag that slides into the side channel, plus multiple interior storage pockets.
Can I carry gear on top of the tent?

Yes. The integrated crossbars are designed to hold up to 100 kg of gear such as boards or solar panels when evenly distributed.
Is there ventilation for hot climates?

Yes. Mesh-lined windows on both sides, roll-up flaps and a skylight provide cross-breeze and star views at night.

How do I install it?
