  • How long do the bottles last?

     Typically 6–10 full washes depending on how much foam you like. Many customers get months of use.

  • How long does a full wash take?

     Around 10–20 minutes using the Captain’s Musket — much quicker than a traditional hand wash.

  • Can beginners use this confidently?

    Yes — just fill, foam, rinse, protect. No detailing skills needed.

  • Will this scratch my paint or gelcoat?

     No — our microfibre mitts and towels help keep the surface safe from swirls and scratches.

  • Is it safe to use in the sun?

     We recommend washing in the shade and avoiding hot panels — especially with Drip Dry.

  • Do I have to dilute products manually?

    No — simply load into the Musket, the foam gun does the dosing for you.

    Great refill box

    Got the refill box on a great deal after having to top up on my chemicals. Was sent a chassis champ instead of the glass cleaner but salty captain rectified that by sending the glass cleaner for free. These chemicals help keep my car looking show room quality

    Awesome products

    I’m starting a collection, products are excellent, I’ve recommended to a few people already, maybe deliver with some packing material tho, 6 bottles loose in a carton can move strong

    My order arrived in a timely manner and when I had inquiries the Salty Captain crew were fast to respond making my experience wonderful. I also received a Father’s Day card that I now stick on the fridge. If you’re feeling unsure about the purchase, don’t. It was worth every cent. Now my dad uses the kit every week.

    My husband is obsessed!!
