What you need to clean a caravan

• 4WD & RV Wash – a stronger alkaline wash for road grime, bugs and dust. The 15L bulk size suits big vans and regular trips.
• Salt Wash – a salt remover for vans that have been parked near the coast or towed on beach roads.
• Telescopic pole and 45° adapter with soft, medium and hard brush heads – reach the roof and high walls safely from the ground.
• Captain's Musket – a foam gun on a normal garden hose, so no pressure washer is needed.
• Glass Cleaner and Duck Off – for windows and the tow vehicle windscreen.
• Interior Cleaner and the Sweet Seats vinyl kit – for inside the van.
• Fabric Water Proofing Spray – for canvas and outdoor fabrics.
• Lanolin spray – anti-rust protection for the chassis, drawbar and jockey wheel.

How to wash a caravan

1. Rinse top down. Hose off loose dust and bugs, starting from the roof.
2. Foam. Apply 4WD & RV Wash with a foam gun or cannon and let it dwell in the shade.
3. Brush. Use the telescopic pole with a soft brush head on walls and a medium head on the roof.
4. Rinse and dry. Rinse thoroughly and dry the windows with a microfibre towel to avoid spots.
5. Protect. Treat the windows with Duck Off and spray exposed metal underneath with lanolin.

Is 4WD & RV Wash safe on caravan paint and decals?

It's designed for use across paint, glass, plastics, rubber and chrome. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on older decals.

Do I need a pressure washer to clean a caravan?

No. The Captain's Musket foam gun works on a garden hose. A pressure washer makes big vans faster. Keep the tip well back from seals, decals and windows.

How do I get salt off my caravan after a coastal trip?

Wash it with Salt Wash as soon as you can, then rinse and dry. Don't forget the chassis and drawbar.
