15L Automotive Wheel Wash

Why does Wheel Wash turn purple?
The purple colour indicates the formula is reacting with iron fallout and embedded brake dust, helping to dissolve contamination that's bonded to the wheel surface.

Is it safe on alloy wheels?
Yes. Wheel Wash is safe for most factory clear-coated alloy, painted and chrome wheels when used as directed. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on aftermarket or damaged finishes.

Can I use it on ceramic-coated wheels?
Yes. Wheel Wash is safe for ceramic-coated wheels and helps remove brake dust and iron contamination without damaging the coating when used as directed.

Do I need to scrub the wheels?
For lightly soiled wheels, the product may do most of the work on its own. For heavy brake dust or neglected wheels, agitation with a soft wheel brush or mitt will deliver the best results.

Can I use it on brake calipers?
Yes. It is safe to use on painted brake calipers, wheel barrels and other painted wheel components. Avoid prolonged contact with bare or polished aluminium.

How often should I use an iron remover?
Use as needed when brake dust and iron contamination are present. Regular use helps maintain wheel appearance and makes routine cleaning easier.

Can I use it on hot wheels?
No. Always allow wheels and brakes to cool before application. Applying the product to hot surfaces can reduce performance and may cause the product to dry too quickly.

Can I use Wheel Wash on paintwork?
Yes. The formula is safe for painted surfaces and can be used to remove iron fallout from body panels; however, it has been specifically formulated for cleaning wheels where iron contamination is typically heaviest.
